Gak terasa ajang penghargaan untuk insan perfilman dunia yakni Academy Awards ke-90 atau Oscar 2018 udah semakin dekat. Selasa (24/1) pagi waktu Amerika atau pukul 20.20 WIB, nominasi penghargaan tertinggi bidang perfilman di Hollywood telah diumumkan dan cukup bikin gw deg-degkan cuy.
Dibacakan langsung oleh Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip) dan Andy Serkis (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) alias si Gholumm. Deretan aktres papan atas pun membantu keduanya dalam mempresentasikan para nomine, termasuk Gal Gadot, Priyanka Chopra, Rebel Wilson.
Daftar nomine didominasi oleh film garapan Guillermo del Toro, The Shape of Water dengan 13 nominasi. Sejumlah judul box-office lainnya menyusul, yakni Dunkirk, Darkest Hour dan Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. dan gw agak kecewa, The Greatest Showman kenapa kagak masuk, hadew!
Kayak taun sebelumnya, pengumuman nominasi Oscar kali ini dilakukan Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) dengan memutar video yang bisa ditonton secara streaming.
Oscar 2018 akan digelar di Dolby Theater Hollywood, Los Angeles pada Minggu (4/3) malam waktu setempat. Komedian Jimmy Kimmel akan menjadi pemandu acaranya.
